Highlights of Ourika valley 1 day Excursion:
On this excursion you will discover the beautiful Ourika Valley, in the middle of the green landscape of the Atlas Mountains, one of the most popular destinations for tourists and residents of Marrakech. After a short drive out of the city you will find a completely different, green world at the foot and in the mountains of the High Atlas.
While driving along the river you will see traditional Berber villages and many different fruit plantations. During a visit to an argan oil cooperative run by local women, you will learn how the valuable oil is made and have the opportunity to secure a souvenir.
In the village of Setti Fatma, the hiking trail to the waterfalls begins, which you can climb with a local guide. Enjoy the panoramic view and the cool spray of the waterfalls!
Lunch in one of the numerous restaurants right on the river. Return to Marrakech to your riad.
