5-Day Trek Mount Toubkal : As well as the opportunity to climb to the top of Jbel Toubkal, at 4,167m the highest peak in the Atlas, the Jbel Toubkal massif offers great scope for hikes lasting several days. Climbing Toubkal is not particularly difficult, although the fact that it is a high-altitude hike over rough terrain should be taken into account. From the Neltner hut, the summit of Jbel Toubkal can be reached in about four hours. For the finest view over the High Atlas, it is best to reach the summit in the late morning.

This 5-Day Mount Toubkal Ascent (4,167m), is the trip to the highest peak in Morocco, the High Atlas and North Africa, is technically easy, but should not be underestimated due to its length. However, the view from the top of Toubkal, in the national park of the same name, stretches from the Azzaden valley to the plain of Marrakech in the north and the Anti Atlas in the south. Itinerary of 5-Day Trek Mount Toubkal

After breakfast, transfer to Imi Ouglad where we meet our local team. We begin our 5-day Mount Toubkal trek. We walk to the village of Tiziane via Tacht Pass (2000m), admiring ocher earth villages nestled in green valleys. Arrival at Tiziane (1950m). Overnight and dinner at guesthouse. 1h30 drive, 5h walk, +600m / -350m.

We hike through juniper forests to the Teouti Pass (2450m), then descend along a mule path to Asaka oasis and the village of Tizguin Tikkent. 6h walk, +1050m / -250m. Overnight in a lodge at 2100m.

We hike to Tagoudalt Pass (2700m) for a panoramic view of Azzaden Valley. Descend to Tizi Oussem and then climb to our refuge in Tamesoult (2250m). Welcomed with mint tea and pancakes. 6h walk, +800m / -900m.

We ascend steeply past Ighouliden waterfalls to Tizi Aguelzim (3560m). Picnic with stunning views. Continue to the Toubkal Refuge (3200m). 6h walk.

Early morning ascent to Mount Toubkal (4167m). 3h up, 2h down to refuge, then 3h down to Imlil via Sidi Chamarouch and Armed village. 8h walk. Transfer to Marrakech, overnight at hotel. Free dinner.
