The roof of North Africa
Mount Toubkal rises to 4,167 metres above the valleys and Berber villages of the High Atlas. The classic approach begins in Imlil and follows mountain trails towards the Toubkal refuge before the final ascent to the summit.
This is more than a climb. It is a journey through changing landscapes, local communities and the quiet rhythm of the mountains. The right itinerary depends on your available time, fitness and the kind of Morocco experience you want to combine with the summit.
You choose the challenge. Our local team takes care of the route, logistics and mountain support.

Descend safely with your guide, return through Imlil and continue to Marrakech or the next stage of your journey.

Before you go
Previous technical climbing experience is not normally required for the standard ascent in dry conditions, but good physical fitness and experience with long walks are strongly recommended.
The 2-day option is the fastest and most demanding. Three or four days provide more time in the mountains and a more gradual experience. Your fitness, schedule and travel style should guide the choice.
Yes, but snow and ice can change the difficulty significantly. Crampons, an ice axe and suitable winter clothing may be required, depending on current conditions.
Our Toubkal experiences connect from Marrakech and normally begin walking in or around Imlil, the main gateway to the mountain.
Inclusions vary by itinerary. Open the individual tour page to see the exact accommodation, meals, transfers, guide service, local staff and luggage support included.
