Your 1-Day Morocco Itinerary
Marrakech to Imlil
Depart Marrakech in the morning and drive toward the High Atlas Mountains. After approximately 1.5 hours, arrive in Imlil at around 1,740 m, a traditional mountain village located below Mount Toubkal.
Guided Walk in the Atlas Mountains
Meet your local guide and begin an approximately 1.5-hour walk through the surrounding mountain landscapes. Follow traditional trails and enjoy panoramic views over the valley and nearby Berber villages.
Berber Lunch
Stop in the village of Aremd at approximately 1,900 m and enjoy a homemade lunch with a local Berber family while taking in views over the surrounding valley.
Optional Toubkal Refuge Hike
For experienced hikers, a longer hike toward the Toubkal Refuge and summit route can be arranged separately. The standard day trip itself is designed as an accessible mountain excursion.
Return to Marrakech
After the walk and lunch, return to your vehicle and drive back to Marrakech, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening.
