Your 8-Day Morocco Itinerary

Arrival in Marrakech

Assistance and transfer from the airport to the hotel. Accommodation in a 3* hotel or Riad located inside the Medina.

Marrakech Guided Tour

Walking tour: ~3.5 hours.After breakfast, embark on a cultural walking tour of Marrakech with a Certified Guide (English/Spanish-speaking). Highlights include exploring the Medina, Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, Koutoubia Mosque, and the famous souks.

Marrakech to Dades Gorge via Atlas Mountains

Travel south through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tichka pass (2,260 m). Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site, Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou. After lunch, continue through Ouarzazate, the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, and the Valley of Roses. Arrive at the Dades Gorge for dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel.

Dades Gorge to Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

Depart to Kalaat M’Gouna, then head toward Merzouga via Erfoud. Upon arrival, enjoy a camel ride or walk to the desert camp to watch the sunset. Dinner and overnight stay in traditional desert tents (Note: a sleeping bag is recommended from October to April)

Merzouga to Fez via Middle Atlas

Leave the desert and travel toward Fez. Pass through Midelt (a mountain town at 1,488m) and journey through the Middle Atlas cedar forests, where you may spot local monkeys. Stop in Ifrane, often called "Little Switzerland," before arriving in Fez for dinner and an overnight hotel stay.

Fez, Volubilis, and Meknes

Enjoy a morning guided tour of Fez, Morocco’s oldest imperial city (founded in 808). Visit the Royal Palace Gates, medersas, tanneries, and artisans' quarters. After a free lunch, visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, then continue to the imperial city of Meknes to see the walled Medina, Bab Mansour Gate, and Hedim Square. Dinner and overnight stay in Meknes.

Meknes to Marrakech via Rabat and Casablanca

Depart for the capital city, Rabat, to visit the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, Hassan Tower, and the Royal Palace. Continue to Casablanca for lunch and a panoramic tour featuring Mohamed V Square and the Hassan II Mosque. Return to Marrakech for your final dinner and overnight stay.

Departure from Marrakech

Breakfast at the hotel followed by a transfer to the airport. End of services.
