Fes to Merzouga via Ifrane, Azrou, Midelt and Erfoud
Depart from Fes by 4x4 or minibus and travel through Ifrane, known for its Swiss-style architecture, before continuing through the Middle Atlas region toward Midelt and Erfoud. Discover the area’s ksours, kasbahs and extensive date palm groves. Continue to Merzouga, where camels will be waiting for a one-hour ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes to your desert camp. Enjoy a spectacular Sahara sunset from the dunes and spend the night in the desert.
Merzouga to Todra Gorges via Tinghir
Wake up to watch the sunrise over the Sahara and enjoy breakfast in the desert. Continue through the lush Tinghir Valley and its impressive palm grove at the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Visit the famous Todra Gorges, one of Morocco’s most spectacular natural landscapes, with dramatic cliffs rising up to 300 meters. Dinner and overnight stay at a guesthouse.
Dades Valley to Marrakech via Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou
After breakfast, travel toward Marrakech through a scenic landscape of oases, kasbahs and green valleys. Continue through Skoura and its palm groves before visiting the magnificent Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m), enjoying views of Berber villages and mountain landscapes along the way. Arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon. End of services.
