Marrakech to Arouss via Ouzoud Waterfalls
Depart Marrakech toward the Ait Bouguemez Valley. Visit the Ouzoud Waterfalls before continuing through Azilal, the gateway to the Central High Atlas. Cross the Oughbar Pass at approximately 2,200 m with panoramic views of the M’Goun Mountains, then descend toward the Ait Abbas Valley. Pass through Agouti and Arouss before arriving at the guesthouse. Enjoy a short walk through the surrounding traditional villages. Driving time: approximately 5 hours. Walking time: approximately 1 hour.
Arouss to Tabant through Ait Bouguemez Valley
Discover the Ait Bouguemez Valley, known as Morocco’s “Happy Valley,” with traditional villages, lush fields, apple and walnut trees and peaceful mountain scenery. Meet local residents and experience the rural lifestyle of the valley. Walking time: approximately 4 hours. Overnight stay in a guesthouse.
Tabant to Imlaghs via Adazen Mountain
From Tabant, visit the famous dinosaur footprints before continuing through R’bat village and climbing Adazen Mountain for panoramic views over the valley. Descend toward the opposite side of Ait Bouguemez and spend the night in a family guesthouse in Imlaghs at approximately 1,900 m.
Imlaghs to Marrakech via Timit and Imi n’Ifri
After breakfast, climb to the Timit hill to visit the collective granary and marabout of Sidi Moussa at approximately 2,008 m. Enjoy impressive views over the Ait Bouguemez Valley before returning toward Marrakech. Stop at the natural bridge of Imi n’Ifri for lunch and continue to the city. Arrival in Marrakech marks the end of services.
