Your 8-Day Morocco Itinerary

Arrival in Marrakech

Upon arrival in Marrakech, your guide will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your Riad or hotel in the Medina. Overnight stay in Marrakech with breakfast included.

Marrakech to Erg Essadra

Leave Marrakech early and cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m). Continue through the Draa Valley and pass by Tazenakht, known for its carpets, before reaching the great dunes of Chegaga through Foum Zguid and the Iriki plateau. First night camping in the desert under the stars.

Erg Chegaga to Bouguerne Dunes

Begin trekking in the Sahara Desert and walk through a succession of small dunes in the Chegaga region toward M’Hamid and Wadi Draa. Enjoy lunch in the shade of tamarisk trees and continue to the dunes of Bouguerne. Overnight camping in the desert.

Bouguerne Dunes to Oued Naam

After breakfast, continue with a medium walk of around 5 hours toward Wadi Naam, an area traditionally associated with ostriches. Set up camp in the heart of the dunes and enjoy another beautiful evening in the desert.

Wadi Naam to M’Hamid

Cross the rocky Hamada of Draa, a striking desert landscape dotted with volcanic stones and sparse vegetation, before crossing the dunes of Berram. Arrive at the M’Hamid camp, marking the end of the Sahara trekking section.

M’Hamid to Ait Ben Haddou

Leave the desert and travel through the Draa Valley, passing oasis landscapes filled with fig trees, pomegranates, palm groves and gardens. Stop in Tamgroute to visit its traditional pottery and historic library before continuing to Ait Ben Haddou for an overnight stay.

Ait Ben Haddou to Marrakech

After breakfast, enjoy a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou. Continue to Marrakech عبر the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, passing through the Ounila Valley and Telouet area. Arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon for an overnight stay in a Riad.

After breakfast, transfer to Marrakech Airport according to your flight schedule. End of services.
